From 1st to 10th May the third course for Certified Space Coaches was held. This time the certification for eMotionSnyc Coach was integrated as well the one for Mental-Psycho-Coachology©. Every Space Coach may now name himself “Mentalpsycocoachologe”.

Extreme life situations that every person feels differently, are our thing. A trip to the suborbital space is on of these extreme situations that currently aprox. 500 people have already experienced. Every one of them had to pass a huge training program. We have adapted this program and modeled it to give it to our Space Coaches. A various tool has arisen: we find the stress – we eliminate the stress – we create anticipation for a special experience.

An important part of the course are the days within the EAC . It is important to convey the feeling how astronauts are feeling when they have completed their training, qWhat emotional fluctuations they are exposed and what limitations could happen within a short time! These facts are why we are at the training center of the EAC – the Columbus Module of the ISS is the perfect training tool for us. To experience the feeling of tightness – and the astronauts will have to deal with it.

To handle narrowness and anxiety are just a small part of what is taught within the 10 days of the Space Coach Training. Information of techniques, introduction to the matter itself , the Primary Check – this is center piece of the entire program . The check can be adapted to each company and each employee. Introduction to our 8×8 Coaching Program – Astronaut Care.

And beside this: Congratulations to our new space coaches.

The next training will start on 23rd October 2015 in Cologne/Hamburg.

There’s an astronaut saying: In space, “there is no problem so bad that you can’t make it worse.” So how do you deal with the complexity, the sheer pressure, of dealing with dangerous and scary situations? Retired colonel Chris Hadfield paints a vivid portrait of how to be prepared for the worst in space (and life) — and it starts with walking into a spider’s web. Watch for a special space-y performance.

A journey of a thousand miles always begins with a single step! Being the first German Founder Astronaut of Space Expedition Corporation (SXC) I’ll fly as co-pilot of the spaceship “The Lynx” (XCOR) to space. But my trip to space has already begun – because preparation is needed. Because of the fact that only 500 people have been in space, I am proud to be a pioneer, a part of world history. As a medical doctor, I am pleased to be able to gather information for scientific purposes, so that space travels can open up new worlds of the future for mankind in terms economically, travel, education, growth and sustainability.

“Open your Mouth, suction tube on, burr march.” The daily business of a dentist, you might think. Quite far from that! Dr. Jos Gal is not only owner of the 20 most beautiful dental offices in Germany, he also would like to be the first space tourist of the Republic. The ticket is already purchased and since 2012 Jos Gal is preparing for the trip into space with simulation flights. “I have no fear. I love projects that are not ordinary. “And it is quite inclined to believe him. Earlier Jos Gal was a magician, as a young dentist he made development aid in the South Seas, in 2001 he won the Physicians Tennis World Cup. Meanwhile GSA Member Gal also offers – beside consulting – to help you as a Golf-Med-Dent-Coach. Without doubt: Dr. Gals Vita could fill books. Let’s have a look what he makes out within 20 minutes!

On 12 April  Russia celebrates the Day of Cosmonauts. On the occasion of this important and respected day I was allowed to give a lecture on the topic “Space Coaching”: Which entrepreneurial skills and work are required to run Space Coach Academy what the social benefit is. Another the topic was Stress reduction and absence of stress specifically for space tourism.

My conclusion: It was a fantastic day.

A comment from a participant: you have touched the Russian soul. Thanks.

The number of photos that were taken afterwards prove that the impulse which I wanted to put was successful here in Russia. Organizer Werner Regen, who is Master Coach of Coach Space University, was always by my side, including interpreters. It was very impressive, moving, and I could do a lot of networking on a Russian way.

The emotional factor within Russian companies was taken very seriously – as the balance of values of empoyees. Many lone were born and are searching their way in the new Russia. The fascination space is both amazing and motivating for a non-Russians, but also for every other nation who joined the event.

The questions on the subject “Space Coaching” were very well-founded, yet highly emotional. Enthusiasm was always felt and a lot of respect for the idea and the performance of all those involved behind it..

I thank everyone for wonderful encounters and it was not our last time in Russia. 🙂
